Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness or surgery. You will partner with physicians to assess needs and design personalized therapy plans focused on meaningful goals and measurable outcomes.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Bachelors Degree required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence

• Leading by example-mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare's values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
