Royal Care CHHA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide home-based care for children in Queens and Nassau County. You will partner with families to restore motion and help clients function at their personal best.

Requirements include a PT degree, valid license, and at least 1 year in home care (Medicare Part A). Bilingual skills, reliable transportation, and strong communication are pluses. Competitive pay, paid vacation, mileage reimbursement, and referral bonuses offered.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist.
• Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy.
• Valid license to practice physical therapy.
• Any bilingual skills are a plus.
• At least 1 year experience as PT in home care (Medicare Part A).
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience using HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) is a plus but not required.

• Document visits and track patient progress.

Job Description

We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist- Pediatrics for Fee for Service position who can cater patients in Queens to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptionalphysical therapyto patients by assessing and understanding care plans and creatphysical therapytreatment plans alongside physicians or by prescription.
• Documenting visits and updates on the patients care and progress
• Educate caregivers and their families on how to care for the patient
• Making the best judgement on the types of care and services needed for each patient
• Supports company mission by providing the highest quality of home care.
