The Valley Hospital-Paramus in Paramus, NJ seeks a Physical Therapist to plan and implement treatment programs across age groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and supervising support staff. Per-Diem rate: $66.50.

Qualified candidates hold a valid New Jersey PT license, a master's degree in PT, and current BLS certification. Experience in outpatient settings is preferred but not required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To plan, organize, and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients in a variety of age groups according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy. To collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team. To supervise work of support staff. Per-Diem Rate: $66.50

EDUCATION:

Possess at least a master's degree from an accredited college or university, except for an applicant who prior to January 1, 2003, possessed a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Current and valid New Jersey license

EXPERIENCE:

No previous experience required. 1-year experience in outpatient setting preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Current and Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist. Current BLS Certification.
• Standard Precautions.
• Keyboard Skills.
• Ability to perform work accurately and give attention to detail.
• Ability to use effective critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to use effective time management to set priorities and perform job-related responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate and interact with relevant departments within the health-system, patients, family members, and multidisciplinary team members in accordance with Valley's SERVE and CARE standards.
• Ability to interact with patients in stressful situations and changing work environments related to changing patient needs.
