Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Graduate of an APTA- or accredited PT school with DPT/MS-PT degree.
• Experience supervising assistants and collaborating with other therapy providers.
• Knowledge of evaluation, treatment planning, modalities, and rehabilitative exercise.
• Familiarity with documentation and billing standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients referred by licensed physicians.
• Supervises and participates in care with Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants and Athletic Trainers.
• Coordinates therapy treatments with other therapy providers and hospital staff.
• Participates in clinical quality measurement and performance improvement programs.
