Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with appropriate body mechanics.
• Treats patients with dignity and respect, remaining engaged with needs.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, and other staff using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations using reliable methods relevant to chief complaint and history.
• Produces documentation in accordance with CTSCP67 policy.
• Screens patients to determine effectiveness and need for therapy services.
• Monitors care delivered by support personnel and provides feedback.
• Completes annual education to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program.
