Responsibilities

• Complete initial patient evaluations.
• Ensure physician orders are present in the medical record.
• Perform evaluations per physician order and update treatment plans as needed.
• Document evaluations and progress within departmental guidelines.
• Develop goals and adjust care plans based on patient progress.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly to the physical therapy assistant and team.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and department cleanliness.
• Prepare charges accurately for treatments and supervise staff.
