Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide evaluated, modality-based physical therapy under supervision. The role covers a wide age range and requires adherence to hospital policy while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, education for patients and families, and discharge planning, with ongoing collaboration with the healthcare team to maximize treatment outcomes in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Texas licensure as a Physical Therapist (SCD or DPT).
• BLS from American Heart Association or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care services for all ages from neonate to geriatric.
• Performs patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Provides care per physician orders and established plan of care.
• Educates patient, family, and caregivers to meet learning needs.
• Plans for discharge and communicates with care teams to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors treatment effectiveness and adjusts as needed.
