Qualifications

• English proficiency required for patient communication.
• Texas licensure as Physical Therapist (SCD or DPT).
• BLS certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT evaluations, modalities and treatments per hospital policy.
• Assists designated patient group across ages from neonatal to geriatric.
• Coordinate care with PT assistants and healthcare team.
• Plan for discharge and educate patient and family as needed.
• Assess treatment effectiveness and adjust plan for goals.
