Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current state South Carolina license.
  • CPR certification.
  • Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills.
  • Outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Responsible individual with a solid work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Review physician prescriptions and patient records to determine required physical therapy treatment.
  • Provide direct care by established protocols and guidelines.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers.
  • Oversee work of assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program.
  • Implement therapy treatment and essential therapies.
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
  • Ensure timely documentation including daily notes and progress reports.

Job Description

We're seeking an innovativePhysical Therapistto join our team at our location. If you're excited about working with experienced clinicians as well as young and energized clinicians, a varied patient population ranging from young athletes to older adults, orthopedics, hand, neurological, vestibular/balance, post-surgical, then this is the clinic to grow in.   • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
  • Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
  • Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
