Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical histories.
• Diagnose patients by observing movements and listening to concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Outline goals and expected outcomes of the plan.
• Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Record progress and adjust the plan of care as needed.
• Educate patients and family about the recovery process.
• Consult with patients to learn about their condition and symptoms.
• Assist patients with equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.
• Advise on in-home treatment options and exercises.
