Work Hours

PRN: On an as needed basis - Weekdays, and 1 weekend per month (minimum), prefer 2 weekends per month, flexible hours, schedule varies.

About the Facility

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is a 137-bed, full-service hospital serving Cleburne and Johnson County since 1986. Located about 35 miles south of Fort Worth, services include surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and ENT care. The hospital has over 80 physicians, is recognized as a Top Performer for Quality Care, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Pathway to Excellence hospital.

Role Overview

This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and guide them through rehabilitation in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and completion of a Physical Therapy program required
• PT license in Texas required upon hire
• BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care, maintained quarterly
• No experience necessary; training provided (acute care rotation experience preferred)
• Good communication skills in English
• Problem-solving, teaching, time management, interpersonal, customer service, and basic leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate patient assessments and establish care plans
• Use therapeutic techniques suitable for patient age and treatment goals
• Educate patients and families on treatment, safety, home programs, and equipment
• Document assessments, care plans, and certifications per regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with peers and other disciplines
• Focus on daily living skills, mobility, and cognition

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $43.18 - $65.41/hour
Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed

Licenses & Certifications

• Physical Therapy License (preferred)
• CPR Certification (preferred)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to commute to Cleburne, TX 76031 (required)
• Relocation to Cleburne, TX 76031 preferred before starting
