Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services in Lewiston, Maine is seeking a Physical Therapist I for full-time, days to join a hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation team. New graduates are encouraged; experienced PTs welcome.

You will deliver evidence-based physical therapy and work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to restore function and maximize independence. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized plans, providing therapeutic exercise, gait training, progress

Qualifications

Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
Current state Physical Therapy license.
Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with hospital and regulatory standards.
