Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examines, evaluates, diagnoses, determines prognosis and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.
• Plans therapy involving physical exercise, massage, heat, water, etc.
• Participates in and supports in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, committees, etc.
• Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits.
• Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.
• Determines and implements annual plan for professional development.
• Delegates tasks to support personnel.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Rehab Medicine division is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on providing exceptional care to patients in need of rehabilitation services in an outpatient setting.

You will work alongside a team of dynamic and talented therapists, utilizing your skills to help patients recover from a variety of conditions. We have needs in several areas of specialty practice including, neurology, pelvic health, lymphedema and sports.

As part of a large academic medical center, you will collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized care for each patient. This is for a full-time, benefited, outpatient physical therapy position with the potential for emphasis on almost any area of specialization within the outpatient rehabilitation department.
