Job summary

Mercyhealth Beloit is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality outpatient care in an integrated health system serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. This 40-hour per week, day shift role works between Mercyhealth Beloit and Mercyhealth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center‑Janesville.

The ideal candidate has a degree from an accredited PT program and WI licensure, with CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates subjective and objective data to establish a treatment plan.
  • Utilizes exercise, physical agents, and manual techniques to address deficits.
  • Maintains a thorough record of services provided with appropriate coding and billing.
  • Communicates with other disciplines and referring providers to enhance outcomes.
  • Performs thorough and timely electronic documentation
  • Strengths in care delivery as evidenced by peer review feedback; consistently demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment techniques
  • Participates actively in the PI and CQI process
  • Assists in the orientation, training and mentoring of new partners
  • Participates in cost saving initiatives within the department
  • Takes an active role in the performance improvement process
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care and provide effective communication between physical therapists, assistants and the physician group
  • Plans and conducts lectures and training programs on physical therapy and related topics for medical staff, students and community groups.

OVERVIEW

This role provides high-quality physical therapy by using patient information, exercise, and hands-on techniques to create effective treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
SCHEDULE: 40-hours per week
SHIFT: Days
LOCATION: This position will work between Mercyhealth Beloit and Mercyhealth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center-Janesville, in an outpatient clinic setting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in WI

  • Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days

SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasionally sit, climb and balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

PAY RANGE

$80,716.59 - $121,074.89
