Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group – Outpatient Therapy Services in Panama City Beach, FL is hiring a Physical Therapist for the day shift, full-time, Monday–Friday. The role specializes in Lymphedema or Women’s Health PT and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus. You’ll assess patients, develop and adjust plans of care, deliver therapy interventions, and supervise PT assistants and students. Florida PT licensure and BLS are required, with a bachelor’s degree; master’s/doctorate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• PT credentialing by Florida Board prior to hire.
• BLS within 1 month of hire date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.


• Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.


• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.


• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
