Job summary

Atrium Medical Center is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for outpatient care from 9am to 5:30pm (24 hours per week). The role includes collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, implementing plans of care, and providing education to patients and families.

Qualified candidates hold a PT degree from an accredited program, Ohio licensure, and BLS within 30 days of hire. Prior experience is preferred but new grads are welcomed.

• Evaluates, treats, documents, delegates and discharges patients per service guidelines.

Physical Therapist

• Part-Time: 9am - 5:30pm | 24 hours per week

Position will be Outpatient, possible patient population could include neuro, oncology, and/or vestibular

General Summary:

The Physical Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. Identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.

Participates in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Education:

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Current Physical Therapy license in State of Ohio.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire

Experience

• Minimum Level of Experience Required: No prior job-related work experience
• Preferred experience: 1-3 years of job-related experience (New grads welcomed)
