If you want to work in a cohesive interdisciplinary team where every member is respected for the talent they bring, choose Thompson Health! This is a general Physical Therapist position with a focus on spine and neuro. Most clients are spine and gait/balance, while about 25% are neuro.

Schedule: Per Diem - days, evenings

Job Objective: Responsible for evaluation and treatment of individuals with neurological and spinal conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and treat in outpatient setting.
2. Document in accordance with state, federal, JCAHO, and insurance guidelines as a per diem.
3. Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy for neurological and spinal conditions, including evaluation, developing, and implementing treatment programs.

Requirements:

• Valid NYS licensure to practice Physical Therapy.
• Degree in Physical Therapy from CAPTE-approved program; DPT preferred.
• Prior experience in outpatient care setting; spine and neuro experience preferred.
• NCS certification a plus.
• Experience with EMR.
• Team player and self-motivated.
• Experience or interest in neurological patients is desired.
