Physical Therapist Role

In this role, you will partner with patients throughout their plan of care in the South Naples and Marco Island, FL area. Your goal is to restore motion and ensure clients function safely and at their personal best in their homes. You will work to maximize quality of life and movement potential through promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation. Under the direction of a physician's plan of treatment and with input from the patient and caregiver, you will contribute to healthier living and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet patients' goals and needs
• Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Provide quality, personalized, evidence-based care and interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment to help them function optimally
• Promote healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Evaluate effects, monitor, and communicate progress
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree from an accredited PT program
• Licensed/registered as a physical therapist in the state of Florida
• At least 1 year of skilled home health experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Proven work experience as a physical therapist
• Strong clinical expertise and education
• Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Desire for continuous learning and growth
• Professional demeanor
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
