Job Details

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their services. The Physical Therapist is a key healthcare provider committed to helping patients reach their highest level of function. The Staff Level I Therapist will uphold Jefferson Health's mission, vision, and values and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and care.

Requirements: Lymphedema Certification required.

Essential Functions
  • Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning for a full caseload across various settings.
  • Participate in student education and contribute as a novice clinician.
  • Design and deliver treatment programs to aid recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for safe therapeutic interventions and training for patients and families.
  • Record and document patient progress, treatments, evaluations, and discharge summaries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 0-2 years of clinical practice; 1 year preferred.
  • Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
  • CPR certification (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers, BLS).
  • Lymphedema Certification required.
Work Details

Day shift, full-time, regular employment, based at 3941 Commerce Avenue, Willow Grove, PA.
