AIMS Locum Tenens seeks a Physical Therapist (DPT) to work at Brooke Army Medical Center and affiliated clinics in San Antonio, Texas. The PT evaluates and treats patients with injuries, orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements include a Doctor of Physical Therapy, CAPTE accreditation, BLS, OSHA training, valid US license, and US citizenship. Schedule is full-time, roughly 40 hours weekly, Mon-Fri, with shifts 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Qualifikationen

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Graduated from a CAPTE-accredited PT program.
• Current US PT license required.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized PT treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait and mobility training.
• Treat orthopedic, neurological, surgical, and medically complex conditions.
• Train patients on assistive devices such as walkers, canes, and crutches.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians and nurses and other providers.
• Document treatment and patient progress.
• Direct and oversee PTAs/therapy technicians when applicable.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient/family education.
