Job summary

A healthcare provider in San Antonio is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient rehabilitation. Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, administering tests, and developing patient goals. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Texas State license mandatory prior to orientation. This full-time role may qualify for a sign-on bonus, and Spanish proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation (new graduates) and current Texas State license for all others.
• Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician orders and requests interpretation as necessary.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements of patients.
• Reviews patient chart and progress prior to treatment and modifies the treatment plan accordingly.
• Develops realistic functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations.
• Uses appropriate modalities and procedures correctly demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications.
