Evaluates and treats patients through physical assessments and therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation procedures (with or without assistive devices) to prevent, correct, or alleviate disabilities. Patients may include neonates through the geriatric population. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Preferred: Membership in the APTA
Frequently (25-75% of the time): standing, sitting (with or without support), walking, reaching, crouching, balancing, lifting 5-25 pounds, carrying 5-10 pounds, pushing up to 75 pounds.
Occasionally (5-25% of the time): stooping, climbing, lifting or moving 24-50 pounds, carrying 10-25 pounds, operating power tools and machinery.
