Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations, using diverse PT techniques to restore function and reduce pain.

The position is rotating through inpatient units (med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, ICU) with optional outpatient rotations in neuro and wound care; comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.

Job description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Rotating position, rotating through different areas of inpatient care including general med/surg, cardiac, ortho, neuro, oncology, and ICU. Interest or experience in acute care management of vertigo or lymphedema welcomed. Optional rotations also available in outpatient neuro and/or wound care, if interested.

Work Schedule

• 90 FTE (upcoming potential to go 1.00), schedule consists of four 8 hr days per week. Every 4th weekend (with days off when working weekend), and one holiday per year.

Required Qualifications

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
