Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. This role provides direct patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, using diverse PT techniques to restore function and reduce pain.

The position is a full-time 1.0 FTE, five 8-hour days with every 4th weekend and one holiday per year. Minnesota licensure required; state-of-the-art EMR and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy.
• Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy.
• Strong communication and data handling abilities are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore function and independence.

Position Summary:

Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of physical therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

1.00 FTE, five 8 hour days. Every 4th weekend (with 2 weekdays off when working a weekend) and one holiday per year.

Required Qualifications:

• Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
  • Doctorate, master’s, or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
• Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
  • Licensed with the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recommend experience as a Physical Therapist preferably in a medical setting.
  • Recommend membership in related professional organization.
  • Proficient with communication and data processing equipment.
  • Proficient in clinical equipment related to area of expertise.
  • Proficient in organization electronic medical record software.
