Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, OR seeks a Physical Therapist to help patients rebuild or maintain physical wellbeing and improve quality of life.

You will conduct initial evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and provide diverse direct treatments. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, and ensure patient-centered care with strong communication and age-appropriate competencies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Oregon required.
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and caregivers to gather information about function, home environment and history.
• Performs tests, measurements and evaluations to establish care.
• Sets measurable goals aligned with patient and family needs.
• Plans and administers treatment programs; adjusts as needed for maximum benefit.
• Monitors patients and supervises assistants; communicates changes to the physician.
• Initiates emergency measures when required.
