Job summary

Valley Children’s Hospital is seeking a licensed physical therapist to assess and treat a diverse pediatric population across outpatient, inpatient, and NICU/PICU settings. The role emphasizes family-centered care, individualized treatment plans, and collaboration with caregivers.

You will supervise PT Assistants, oversee interns, participate in professional development, and ensure documentation compliance.

Qualifications

  • PT license in California required.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Job Summary

This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with physical, motor, and sensory impairments affecting functional mobility and active participation in daily living. Instructs and supervises PT Assistants and Aides in treatments delegated and follows through with required documentation. Involved in the orientation, training, and oversight of student interns and new employees. Participates in a variety of professional growth activities intended to develop and improve patient care delivery and departmental performance.

Qualifications
Education
  • College Degree - 4 year in Physical Therapy (required)
  • Doctorate (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • PT - Physical Therapist License - PTBC - Physical Therapy Board of California (required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
Work Experience
  • Minimum two (2) years (required)
