Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Level 2 Physical Therapist to join our team of highly passionate therapists. The position focuses on orthopedic, neurological, vestibular and pelvic health, with collaboration across departments at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Qualifikationen

• BS Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MA Physical Therapy license.
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Aufgaben

• Examines patient using appropriate testing methods and instrumentation, records and interprets findings, and identifies patient needs.
• Formulates a detailed assessment based on examination findings.
• Develops treatment plan and outcomes, incorporating input from patient and family and other health professionals.
• Safely and effectively implements the treatment intervention with sound clinical judgement.
• Provides patient/family education during therapy and in preparation for discharge.
• Conducts ongoing assessments and revises treatment goals and outcomes as appropriate.
• Initiates discharge planning and participates in multidisciplinary care planning.
• Documents discharge summaries per policy and maintains medical records.
• Meets department productivity standards and contributes to quality improvement.
• Attends educational programs and mentors staff; supervises students and provides lectures.
