Job Description

• The Physical Therapist II will provide Physical Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment, adhering to professional practices and ethical standards.
• Demonstrate accountability and contribute to the department's daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping, complying with designated start/end times.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities as directed by management.
• Adhere to established productivity standards of the department.
• Perform all responsibilities in alignment with El Camino Health's We Care values, Medical Staff Code of Conduct, and Professional Behavior.
• This position is enterprise-wide; employees may be required to float between campuses.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Program; Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience; NICU experience requires at least 1 year.
• Meets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist.

License/Certification/Registration

• Current valid California Physical Therapy license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) for Healthcare Providers.
• CCS-Paneling or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics.

Ages of Patients Served

This role serves patients across age groups: neonate/child (0-3), child (4-12), adolescent (13-17), adult (18-64), and older adult (65+).

Salary Range

$59.91 - $78.06 USD per hour.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This position involves medium physical work: standing most of the shift, lifting up to 35 lbs frequently, sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. Detailed physical requirements are available.
