Job Description

• Provide Physical Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.

• Demonstrate accountability for, and contribution to, the Department’s daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested.

• Exhibit fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping of assigned work shifts (which includes compliance with management-designated start/end times).

• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities as requested by management.

• Adhere to the Department’s established productivity standards.

• Carry out all responsibilities in a manner reflective of El Camino Health’s We Care values and Medical Staff Code of Conduct and Professional Behavior.

• Float between campuses as required by the enterprise-wide position.

Qualifications

• Completion of Accredited Physical Therapy Program; Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care.

• Meets Career Ladder requirements of Level II Therapist.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

• Current valid California Physical Therapy license.

• Current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider.

• CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU/OP Pediatrics.

Ages of Patients Served

This position can serve the following age groups: neonate/child (0-3), child (4-12), adolescent (13-17), adult (18-64), and older adult (65+).

Salary Range: $59.91 - $78.06 USD Hourly
