Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$38.67 - $59.94 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Physical Therapist II

• Location: 15120 Wallin Dr, Plainfield, IL (YMCA location)

• Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time

• Hours: Weekdays, flexible scheduling with two early evenings per week until 7:30pm required

We schedule patients one on one for 45 minutes, with efforts made to keep patients with the same provider from start to finish. For new grads and those with less than three years’ experience, we provide mentorship through our residency and fellowship programs. Our primary population is orthopedic physical therapy, but we also offer Occupational and Speech services, including specialties in hand, neuro, vestibular, pelvic health, pediatrics, and lymphedema.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (if graduated before 2002) OR Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2002 - 2014) OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduated 2015 and after).

• Current State of Illinois Physical Therapist licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider

• A valid driver’s license is required if performing duties at an off-site location, and personal vehicle use requires automobile liability coverage.

• New grads and seasoned therapists are welcome to apply

• Willing to mentor/train in advanced clinical skills

Required without License:

• Notification from Continental Testing Services regarding licensure application approval

• “Authorization to Test” (ATT) letter from Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy

• Confirmation of Computer-Based Exam

• State of Illinois Physical Therapy license within 90 days of hire

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS provider

What you will do:

Provide direct physical therapy services, perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, evaluate patient status, and implement therapeutic programs to improve movement dysfunction. Communicate effectively with patients, stay updated on field developments, and maintain clinical reasoning skills to achieve clinical outcomes.
