Come join our outpatient team at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC. This position provides evaluation and treatment for our pelvic health population. Patients are scheduled one-on-one for 45 minutes—no techs or assistants. Onsite mentorship by a clinical specialist is available. No weekends or holidays. Alamance Regional Medical Center is conveniently located off I-40, accessible from both the Triad and Triangle regions. Hours are Monday through Thursday for 9-hour days, and Friday for either a 4-hour day or four 10-hour days.
This role is responsible for evaluating and treating patients referred for pelvic health physical therapy, aiding their return to optimal functional abilities, and preventing disability. The position involves communication with physicians and healthcare personnel to ensure quality patient care.
Supports evaluations of patients' physical abilities, medical history, and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans. Administers therapeutic exercises and interventions, educates patients and families, collaborates on discharge planning, monitors progress, and documents outcomes. Works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Performs other duties as required.
