Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Physical Therapist I to autonomously assess, plan, and implement treatments for patients with functional impairments. You will collaborate with the medical team, supervise assistants, and contribute to discharge planning.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy (Doctoral preferred), Massachusetts licensure within 3–6 months, and strong computer skills. Sign-on bonus eligible and a comprehensive care environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Massachusetts license within 3–6 months of hire date and supervision until licensure.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate patients to determine appropriateness of referral, review medical history, perform examination, diagnose, prognosis and plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care using therapeutic procedures, equipment, teaching interventions, and collaborate with other providers to reach patient goals.
• Re-evaluate progress and modify the plan of care as needed; regularly update discharge planning.
• Manage a defined caseload and perform administrative tasks including data collection, billing, and committee participation.
• Provide teaching to patients and families, orient support staff, and supervise PT staff and aides.
