Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Physical Therapist I to autonomously examine, evaluate, diagnose and plan care for patients referred to physical therapy. The role includes supervising staff, teaching, and collaborating with the medical team to optimize patient function.

The position requires a PT license, BLS, and 0-1 years of experience. A Massachusetts license within 3–6 months is expected, with supervision until licensure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred.
• License Physical Therapist License required, and Basic Life Support required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Massachusetts license within 3-6 months of hire date with supervision until licensed.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patients to determine appropriateness of referral, review medical history, examination, diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care using therapeutic procedures, equipment, teaching interventions, and collaboration with other providers.
• Review the plan of care and patient response, re-evaluate status and modify plan as needed, discharge planning.
• Manage a defined caseload and complete administrative responsibilities including data collection, billing, committees, and meetings.
• Teach patients and families, orient staff, present in-services, and supervise therapists and aides.
