Job summary

Responsibilities include evaluating function, developing and updating treatment plans, and supervising PTAs and aides. A Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and active Michigan licensure are required, with OSHA and BLS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or equivalent.
• Current PT licensure in Michigan or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient function using formal/informal tests.
• Develops goal-specific treatment regime based on assessment data.
• Submits and updates plan of care with physician coordination.
• Schedules treatment with patient/family and staff.
• Educates patient/family/caregiver on condition, prognosis, and home program.
• Supervises PTAs, aides, and students per policy.
