GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the general supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs (e.g., heat, water, exercise, etc.) aimed at relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

* Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required to relieve pain and/or restore physiological function.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSE REQUIRED:

* Requires current Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Michigan.

* Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.

* Must be able to lift and position clients and perform treatment modalities.

* High level of interpersonal skills required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.
