Job summary

Amedisys in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our home health team. This full-time role provides patient-centered therapy in patients' homes, with a standard 8am-5pm schedule Monday through Friday.

The position offers competitive pay between $109,200 and $124,800 per year, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a respected national home health provider.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health.
• If less than one year, regional clinical leaders approval with mentoring/residency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days, modify interventions, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Provides interventions, conducts reexaminations (every 30 days, at minimum), modifies interventions as necessary, and performs discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
