Pursue your passion for caring with Duke HomeCare & Hospice, which offers hospice, home health, and infusion services across the region, as well as serving as the home for the Duke Caregiver Support Program. Team members work closely with a patient's physician to provide comprehensive, individualized care in the comfort of their home or at our inpatient hospice facility in Durham, NC.
Provide physical therapy services to patients/clients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. Offer prevention and wellness services, including screenings and health promotion. The senior serves as a resource for the team and department, participating in orientation and teaching activities for students. The physical therapist works within practice guidelines as defined by North Carolina state law.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ability to push-pull, lift-carry, and transfer patients.
Refer to Clinical Ladder administration document.
Bachelor's degree or certification in physical therapy; Master's or Clinical Doctorate preferred.
None beyond required education; more experience may be preferred.
Current Physical Therapist license in North Carolina.
