Job summary

The Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide high-quality therapy for residents across short-term, long-term, and ventilator-dependent care within our Green House Ventilator Program.

You will evaluate, treat, and discharge plans, collaborate with the care team, and leverage high-tech assistive devices. Licensure in MA and a PT degree are required, with ATP certification pursued.

Qualifications

• Master or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience with high-tech assistive technologies preferred.
• ATP certification through RESNA or interest in obtaining ATP certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional physical therapy services to a diverse resident population (short-term and long-term care, including MS/ALS and ventilator-dependent residents).
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize mobility and quality of life.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Utilize high-tech assistive technology and adaptive equipment; opportunity to pursue ATP certification.
