Job summary

TransPerfect Health in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Senior Living and Skilled Nursing settings, delivering evidence-based therapy and contributing to a mentorship program.

You will evaluate, treat, document, and collaborate with rehab leadership to advance mobility and quality of life for aging adults, while maintaining compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• Develop a robust therapy program with the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties involving moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
