Job summary

TransPerfect Health in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for aging populations in senior living and skilled nursing settings. You will conduct screenings and treatments, document outcomes, and collaborate with leadership to advance therapy programs while maintaining compliance with state and OBRA guidelines.

A CAPTE-accredited PT program and licensure are required; diverse funding and mentorship options are available for

Qualifications

• Current or eligible Physical Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level PT education by an APTA-approved credentialing agency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, plan of care, and company policies.
• Help optimize functional mobility, independence, and quality of life for members of the aging population.
• Accurately complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in required orientations, staff meetings, and in-service education.
• In collaboration with the Director of Rehabilitation, develop a robust therapy program.
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants as indicated.
• Follow all infection control procedures and OBRA Resident Rights Guidelines.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize patient care.
• Support compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical demands.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
