Job summary

Xcelerate Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. You will assess patients, review referrals, and provide direct patient care within established protocols to promote recovery and function.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, developing plans of care, supervising assistants, and coordinating with physicians and insurers. PA licensure and CPR certification are required, with opportunities for mentoring and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• New or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Current state licensure as Physical Therapist (PA).
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR system and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results.
• Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition to determine the therapy required.
• Provide direct patient care by established protocols and guidelines.
• Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
• Supervise and mentor assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Complete a written plan of care, set goals, and develop a comprehensive program.
• Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential therapies.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurers.
• Ensure timely documentation, including notes and discharge summaries.

Education

CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Program

PA licensure as Physical Therapist (PT)
