Job summary

HealthQuest Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan to maintain a full patient load and provide excellence in care according to the standard of practice. The role requires documentation compliance and active participation in professional development.

Responsibilities include patient evaluations, treatment planning, and leading a team of Exercise Specialists. APTA membership is provided by HealthQuest, along with a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT, MPT) required.
• Licensed PT in the State of Michigan.
• APTA Membership – provided by HealthQuest.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient evaluations and develops treatment plans with prognosis and duration.
• Provides skilled patient treatment per HealthQuest philosophy of care.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, and care plans per QA standards.
• Leads and supervises Exercise Specialists to ensure safety and correct exercise performance.
• Participates in peer review audit process.
• Creates Home Exercise Programs for each patient.
• Engages in internal marketing to attract new patients.
• Maintains relationships with referring physicians and coordinates care with coverage therapists.
