Job summary

HealthQuest Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan to join our team in Richmond. You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress while delivering evidence-based therapy aligned with our person-centered care philosophy.

You will lead and mentor Exercise Specialists, ensure patient safety, and contribute to clinic growth through community engagement and collaboration with referring physicians.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DPT or MPT from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in Michigan.
• APTA membership provided by HealthQuest.
• Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, establish functional goals, and monitor progress.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy consistent with HealthQuest's philosophy.
• Maintain accurate evaluations, progress notes, and treatment documentation.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to Exercise Specialists to ensure patient safety and proper techniques.
• Develop Home Exercise Programs to support progress and long-term success.
• Participate in peer reviews, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative clinical discussions.
• Build relationships with patients, referring physicians, and healthcare partners.
• Support clinic growth through patient engagement and community involvement.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with team members.

• Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT) from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan.
• APTA membership provided by HealthQuest Physical Therapy.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, referring physicians, and healthcare partners.
• Support clinic growth through patient engagement, community involvement, and internal marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of treatment.
