Lifepoint Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join Mercy Hospital Pittsburgh ARU in Pittsburg, KS. This PRN Days role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and educating nursing staff and families to support progress.

The candidate will hold a PT degree, current state license, and CPR certification, with strong organizational and communication skills. The role supports ongoing professional growth and quality patient care within a fast-paced inpatient unit.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff and family on follow-through programs.
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and other team members.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post charges to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Other duties as assigned by the department.
