Job summary

Physical Therapy Solutions is recruiting a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. You will deliver evidence-based care, build strong patient relationships, and contribute to a collaborative clinic culture.

The role emphasizes mentorship, ongoing learning, and delivering outstanding outcomes with a patient-centered approach in our Richmond-area clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapist licensure or eligibility.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills, or willingness to develop them through mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality one-on-one physical therapy services for orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and functional training.
• Monitor progress and modify plans to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, plans, home programs, injury prevention, and wellness.
• Complete timely documentation in the EMR.
• Supervise PTAs and rehabilitation staff per Virginia standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain productivity while delivering excellent outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge.

Physical Therapy Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join our growing outpatient orthopedic team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals through evidence-based care while building meaningful relationships with patients and coworkers. • Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify functional limitations and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Develop measurable, patient-centered goals and evidence-based plans of care.
• Deliver high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and other evidence-based interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with Virginia practice standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain productivity standards while delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative clinic environment.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• graduated from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for Virginia Physical Therapist licensure.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills or a desire to develop them through mentorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate, individualized care.
• Self-motivated, positive, and team-oriented.
