Job summary

Mercy South Rehab Hospital seeks a Physical Therapist for day shift coverage. Under Therapy Leadership supervision, you will perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients.

You will supervise patients and rehab staff, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and state practice acts. The role requires a PT degree (DPT/MS) and current state licensure, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current clinical assessment and program development for adults/geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehab technicians/assistants.
• BLS certification required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs.
• Supervise patients and provide oversight of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants.
• Align care with Mercy mission, values and service standards.
