Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess and treat adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership. The role includes direct supervision of patients, and oversight of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts.

Qualifications include a Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, current licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice physical therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; must be current before patient care.
• Six months to one year rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Oversee PT assistants in accordance with state practice acts.
• Align duties with Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
