Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapy for adult and geriatric patients under supervision of Therapy Leadership. The role emphasizes objective assessments and individualized treatment programs aligned with Mercy standards.

Requirements include a current Physical Therapy license in the state, DPT/MS in PT, and BLS certification. Preference for 6–12 months of experience and familiarity with adult/geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Licensure: Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• Six months to one year experience is preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and supervision of rehabilitation technicians; general supervision of PT assistants as per State Practice Acts.
• Work under general supervision of Therapy Leadership and adhere to Mercy mission, values and service standards.

Education

Bachelor/Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy

Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice
