Key Responsibilities:


  1. Evaluate a patient's need for physical therapy and develop an appropriate treatment plan.
  2. Provide care and treatment to patients based on physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards of care.
  3. Instruct family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.

Requirements:


  1. Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
  2. Ability to evaluate patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Provide care and treatment following physician care plans, agency policy, and professional standards.
  4. Instruct family members, PTAs, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
  5. Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.
