Job summary

Mercy Health Center Rehabilitation Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and design individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and provide indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while coordinating with PT assistants as required by the Oklahoma Practice Act.

The role requires Oklahoma licensure or registry eligibility, a PT degree (DPT/Bachelor/Master), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma license or registry eligibility as Physical Therapist.
• PT degree at least Bachelor/Master or Doctorate (DPT).
• BLS certification current.
• Six months to one year rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs.
• Supervise patients directly and rehabilitation technicians indirectly.
• Supervise PT assistants as per Oklahoma Practice Act.
• Contribute to care plans aligned with Mercy mission and standards.

Under the general supervision of the Rehab Therapy supervisor at the Rehab Center at Mercy Health Center, and according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referral, standards of treatment, performs objective assessments, as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients. Responsible for direct supervision to patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians. General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with Oklahama Practice Act. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Education: Current Oklahoma license of Physical Therapy or registry eligible. Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical TherapyLicensure: Current Oklahoma license of Physical TherapyExperience: Certifications: BLS certified.
